Abstract
This study has chiefly focused on recognizing the relationship between the concept of self and The Social and Psychological adaptions of the rural breadwinner woman in Gharbia governorate. This is done through recognizing the level of the concept of self of the the rural breadwinner woman through the five studied dimensions; psychological, moral, family, personal and social and recognizing both of the levels of psychological and social adaptions of the breadwinner woman and defining the
The regressive and correlative relationships between the five studied dimensions physical, moral, family, personal and social self and the level of both physical and social adaptions of the Rural Breadwinner woman. This study is carried in Gharbia governorate and Tanta countryside has been chosen as a geographical field to carry out the study. Nine major villages and forty- one suburbs have been randomly chosen to carry out the study. Three major ones are Nawag village, Shouber village and Berma village. A sample of families that have breadwinner women has been chosen deliberately. They form 300 families; 100 families for each village . The data were collected from the formal registers in the social solidarity department and informers. The data were collected through interviews by using the questionnaire which has been designed, evaluated, examined and eventually prepared for the study. Then, it is analysed by using the number tables, percentages, arithmetic mean, Berson correlation coefficient, multiple correlation coefficient and partial regression coefficient. Findings: The level of the dimension of the five studied concepts of self; psychological, moral, family, personal and social high by 56.3%, 46.3%, 72.3%, 52.3% and 56.3%. The level of both the psychological and social adaptions is high by 55.7% and 63.7%. There is a relationship between the dimensions of the five studied concepts of self; physical, moral, family, personal and social and the level of both studied psychological and social adaptions. All these dimensions explain about 46% of the occurring differences of the level of studied psychological and social adaptions
