Abstract
The study highlighted the importance of the need to study agricultural land resources in the recent period, what are the determinants of land use in agricultural activity, and the measurement of the economic and productivity efficiencies of these lands. Therefore, the study aimed to determine the current state of efficiency in the utilization of land resources in the different centers of Monofiya governorate, In the context of estimating the percentage of lost production due to the low productivity of agricultural land in the governorate. The importance of this study is to shed light on the levels of agricultural production that were accessible if it was used The study relied on a number of sources to obtain the published and unpublished secondary data collected from periodic publications, records and statistics, including the Agricultural Statistics Bulletin issued by the Economic Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Reclamation and Statistical Yearbook issued by the Central Agency for Packaging The study also adopted different methods of research in order to achieve the objectives of the previous study. Accordingly, the method of descriptive statistical analysis as well as the method of quantitative analysis The second part dealt with the research problem in four sections. The first part dealt with the theoretical framework of the study. The second part dealt with the reference review of the studies, research and previous scientific messages related to the subject of the study. In the province of Monofia to find out the most important crops planted in the province. The fourth section was to estimate the technical efficiency of the most important crops planted in different centers of the province.
